EDL TRADING GUILD
Policies, Terms of Participation, and Legal Disclosures
The following policies govern the relationship between EDL Trading Guild and any individual who enrolls,
subscribes, or participates in its programs, educational materials, or community platforms.
By registering, enrolling, purchasing a package, or accessing the services of
EDL Trading Guild, the Student confirms that they have read,
understood, and agreed to the policies described below.
1. PARTIES COVERED
These policies apply to the following parties:
EDL Trading Guild
An educational trading community that provides trading education, training programs,
market insights, and community-based learning services.
The Student (Enrollee)
Any individual who enrolls, subscribes, registers, or participates in any program,
course, community, or platform operated by EDL Trading Guild.
2. DATA PRIVACY POLICY
EDL Trading Guild respects and protects personal data in accordance with the
Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
2.1 Personal Information Collected
EDL Trading Guild may collect the following information when a Student enrolls or interacts with its services:
- Full Name
- Birthday / Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Mobile or Contact Number
- Payment and transaction records
- Registration and account information
- Communication records
- Platform or community access information
Information collected shall be limited to what is reasonably necessary for enrollment,
identity verification, communication, and service delivery.
2.2 Purpose of Data Collection
Personal information may be used for the following purposes:
- Processing enrollment and membership registration
- Providing access to educational materials and trading sessions
- Managing access to community platforms
- Sending announcements and program updates
- Processing payments and subscriptions
- Maintaining internal operational records
- Improving services and educational programs
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
Personal data will not be used for unrelated purposes without consent.
2.3 Data Protection
EDL Trading Guild implements reasonable administrative, technical,
and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from:
- Unauthorized access
- Data misuse
- Loss or alteration
- Unauthorized disclosure
Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel
when required for legitimate operations.
2.4 Data Retention
Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary
to fulfill operational, legal, and administrative purposes.
When information is no longer required, EDL Trading Guild may securely delete,
archive, or anonymize such data.
2.5 Disclosure of Information
EDL Trading Guild does not sell or distribute personal information to third parties.
Information may only be disclosed when:
- Required by law or government authorities
- Necessary to protect the legal rights of EDL Trading Guild
- Necessary to enforce policies or agreements
- Necessary to investigate fraudulent or unlawful activities
2.6 Student Rights
Students have the right to:
- Be informed about how their personal data is used
- Request access to their personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion when applicable under law
3. CONFIDENTIALITY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials provided by EDL Trading Guild are proprietary intellectual property including:
- Trading strategies
- Trading frameworks and systems
- Training modules and course materials
- Recorded sessions
- Charts, examples, and trading insights
- Community discussions and shared knowledge
Students agree that they shall not:
- Copy or reproduce proprietary materials
- Distribute educational content
- Share recordings or lessons outside the guild
- Sell or republish guild materials
Violation may result in termination of access and possible legal action.
4. TRADING RISK DISCLOSURE
Trading financial markets involves significant risk and may not be suitable
for all individuals.
EDL Trading Guild provides educational content only.
Nothing provided within EDL Trading Guild should be interpreted as:
- Financial advice
- Investment advice
- A recommendation to buy or sell financial instruments
- Portfolio management services
Students acknowledge that:
- Trading profits are not guaranteed
- Financial losses may occur
- Market conditions are unpredictable
- Past performance does not guarantee future results
Students are solely responsible for their own trading decisions.
5. NO GUARANTEE OF PROFITS
EDL Trading Guild does not guarantee profits, income, or financial success
from participation in its programs or educational content.
Trading demonstrations and examples are provided strictly for educational illustration.
6. THIRD-PARTY BROKERS AND PLATFORMS
EDL Trading Guild does not operate as a broker or financial institution.
Students who trade through third-party brokers or platforms do so independently.
EDL Trading Guild is not responsible for:
- Broker performance
- Trading platform outages
- Execution errors
- Withdrawal or deposit issues
7. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Students are responsible for:
- Their own trading decisions
- Their financial risk management
- Protecting their trading accounts
- Maintaining the accuracy of their personal information
EDL Trading Guild shall not be liable for financial losses incurred through trading activities.
8. COMMUNITY CONDUCT
Students participating in the guild community must maintain respectful
and professional behavior.
The following actions may result in suspension or removal:
- Harassment or abusive behavior
- Spreading misinformation
- Sharing confidential guild materials outside the community
- Attempting to replicate or sell guild strategies
EDL Trading Guild reserves the right to remove members who violate community rules.
9. REFUND POLICY
All payments made to EDL Trading Guild are strictly non-refundable.
Once a Student has enrolled in any program, membership, or package,
the payment shall be considered final and non-refundable regardless of circumstances.
Examples include:
- Change of mind
- Failure to attend lessons
- Personal scheduling conflicts
- Dissatisfaction with trading results
Enrollment constitutes full acceptance of this No Refund Policy.
9.1 Package or Tier Upgrade
Students may upgrade their package within fourteen (14) days
from the start of lessons or before receiving Lesson 3, whichever comes first.
If an upgrade is approved:
- The Student shall pay only the price difference between packages
- The previously paid amount will be credited toward the upgraded tier
Upgrade requests beyond this period may no longer be accepted.
9.2 Non-Transferability
Memberships and purchased packages are non-transferable and may not be sold
or assigned to another individual without written approval from EDL Trading Guild.
10. NON-DISPARAGEMENT AND REPUTATION PROTECTION
Students agree not to make false, defamatory, or malicious statements
intended to damage the reputation of EDL Trading Guild.
This includes statements made through:
- Social media platforms
- Public reviews
- Online forums or groups
- Video or content platforms
Constructive concerns should be communicated directly to the guild through official channels.
Violation of this policy may result in:
- Membership termination
- Revocation of platform access
- Possible legal remedies when applicable
Termination due to violations does not entitle the Student to any refund.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDL Trading Guild shall not be liable for:
- Trading losses incurred by Students
- Indirect or consequential financial damages
- Loss of trading capital
- Decisions made based on educational materials
- System interruptions or platform outages
Participation in EDL Trading Guild programs is voluntary and at the Student’s own risk.
12. POLICY MODIFICATIONS
EDL Trading Guild reserves the right to update or modify these policies when necessary.
Continued participation in the guild after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policies.
13. CONSENT
By enrolling in any program, purchasing a membership package, or accessing the services
of EDL Trading Guild, the Student confirms that they have:
- Read and understood these policies
- Accepted the risks associated with trading
- Agreed to the data privacy practices
- Accepted the refund and participation terms
Consent may be provided through online registration, enrollment forms,
or by selecting “I Agree” during the registration process.
